Online educational activities

BioSymposia has responded to emerging trends in continuing medical education, online cme course, and professional development by expanding its accredited educational programs to include on-line programs.

BioSymposia engages recognized experts in medicine, nursing, pharmacy and related fields to serve as consultant advisors and authors of our online educational activities. An online CME course candidate must submit his/her curriculum vitae and complete a program planner/faculty disclosure form before being considered as an author. Any potential conflicts of interest will be resolved or the author will not be allowed to author an online educational activity.

When you register for an online educational event and online CME Courses, you will automatically be notified of the author’s name, credentials and disclosure of financial relationships. These will include:

• Relevant financial relationships with commercial interests occurring in the previous 12 months and the nature of the relationship
• Information on discussion of off-label or non-FDA approved indications
• Known spouse/partner financial relationships with commercial interests occurring in the previous 12 months and the nature of the relationship

You will not be able to continue the activity until you acknowledge that you have read the disclosure for the specific program you wish to complete.  If you choose not to continue the activity after reading the disclosure, you may cancel and not proceed with registration.
